It's not that I don't want to learn, Just that I don't want to learn What people say I 'need' to learn. Everything is trivial to me, Virtually useless, I can look it up online Or in the library. I imagine myself as a hero Captured in the comics in heroic poses, Captured with the damsel in distress, Captured by the diabolic villain, Only to escape And foil his evil plot. I imagine that in real life I can be that hero, I can save lives and conquer, I can win the person of my dreams, And have the story repeat And the numerous acts of valor Never aging.
